What size venue should a first tour play here?
Most bands on a first run play venues under 300, like Castle Hotel, Eagle Inn or 53two. Theaters usually come through a promoter, often as a support slot on a bigger band’s tour. See the small venues.

Every venue here passed our check: its own website lists this street address and real shows. Offices, studios, festivals and venues that closed are left out, and anything still in doubt waits for another check.
How are the venues ranked?
By band reviews. Each review rates sound, load in, hospitality and getting paid from 1 to 5, and a venue’s score is the average across its reviews. Venues nobody has reviewed yet are listed by name. A review marked “Show confirmed by tour data” was written from a link the band’s tour app sent after the show, so the venue and the date come from the band’s own tour plan.
